New stamps raise awareness of mental health

Stamps are dedicated to various topics, highlight social concerns and focus not only on events, but also on health, culture, the environment and social issues. The latest stamps from Swiss Post focus on the topic of mental health. Four people with psychological challenges have created four works of art – which can now be sent throughout Switzerland. Corina Schleuniger has painted a picture of herself as a girl sitting in an old armchair, knitting a piece of cheese. “For me, painting is an expression of my soul, a way of making my thoughts and feelings visible. It’s also a gift that helps me cope with all of life’s ups and downs. And Federico Felicetta, who illustrated the stamp “Fly high”, sees painting as an anchor: “It can open up insights into difficult feelings – or be an outlet for them. It expresses things that are deeply rooted in my soul. And it affirms that I’m alive.”
